Job Summary
Maintain sanitary facility conditions through routine cleaning of floors, equipment, roofs, and outside grounds. Perform specialized tasks including bin cleanings, sifter operations, and filter sock changes. Execute basic process maintenance and cross-train in at least one other operator position. Follow all personnel, equipment, and safety policies while wearing required PPE such as hard hats, steel toe boots, and respirators. Ascend and descend stairs and climb ladders throughout the facility. Communicate with peers and supervisors in English while following verbal and written instructions. Work additional hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be willing and able to work additional hours which may include overtime, weekends, and holidays
- Communication skills in English (both verbal and written)
- Must be willing to accept accountability and work well in a team environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to Ascend and Descend stairs throughout the facility
- Must be able to Climb ladders (both step and extension)
- Must be able to Wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel toe boots, gloves) and task specific PPE (respiratory protection, goggles, etc.)
- Must be able to Follow verbal and written instructions (English)
- Must be able to Communicate with peers and supervisors (English)
- Must be clean shaven in order to perform tasks where respiratory protection is required
