Job Summary
Operate semi-automated equipment to produce heat pipe assemblies for aerospace and defense applications while following detailed work instructions and engineering procedures. Perform repetitive-motion production activities, rotate between workstations, and inspect parts for visible defects or inconsistencies. Clean components using approved equipment and maintain an organized workstation within designated production areas. Communicate with production, machining, and quality-control personnel as needed while adhering to all safety and quality procedures. This role requires the ability to read and interpret written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions, with a commitment to accuracy and team-oriented work in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and understand detailed work instructions written in English
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
- Ability to perform repetitive-motion tasks on a daily basis
- Willingness to work at multiple workstations based on production needs
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and other employees
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Must currently reside within approximately 50 miles of the Lancaster, Pennsylvania facility
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employment sponsorship
- Must qualify as a U.S. Person under International Traffic in Arms Regulations requirements. This includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, political asylees, and refugees
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine-operation environment
