Job Summary
Stack 50lb bags on pallets and wrap them for shipping while mixing and blending fertilizer and ice melter materials. Operate a forklift to move pallets between buildings and run a front-end loader to transport bulk materials. Monitor machines to ensure safety and efficiency, perform general cleanup, and assist with inventory or grounds keeping as needed. Work the 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday. Prioritize safety, follow established programs, and maintain accurate records in this fast-paced production environment at Spring Valley's Cleveland, TN plant.
Required Qualifications
- Priority for safety and following established safety programs
- Outstanding attendance
- Excellent communication and organization in a fast paced production environment
- Ability to follow written & verbal instructions
- Ability to work 1st Shift (6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday)
- Willingness to support continuous improvement initiatives
- The ability to keep accurate records and follow procedures
- Pass a post-offer drug screen
- Reliable transportation to get to and from work
- Ability to lift 50 lbs comfortably
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience and comfortability in forklift operation, including stacking pallets 2-3 high is a plus!
