Job Summary
Perform repetitive assembly tasks using hand and power tools to build high-quality window products while maintaining balanced line flow. Retrieve parts from green racks, execute light fabrication such as drilling and cutting, and assemble materials into sub-assemblies or finished goods. Notify supervisors of mechanical or material issues, attach labels to products, and assist with inventory maintenance and training new associates. Work Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 2:30pm at $20.49/hour, with overtime possible during peak seasons. This role requires lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally and standing on concrete for up to 10-hour shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 70-100 pounds occasionally and pass a physical fit test
- Ability to stand or walk on concrete up to 10 hour shifts
- Ability to communicate in oral or written English to carry out essential functions
- Ability to read and understand visual and written assembly instructions on a computer screen to retrieve parts
- Ability to be cross-trained in multiple functions within and between multiple department lines
- Ability to operate hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble
- Ability to maintain regular and satisfactory attendance and punctuality
- Lift, carry, push, and pull a variety of objects weighing 10 lbs. to 70 lbs.
- Grip 65 lbs.
- Bend, twist, stoop, and climb
