Job Summary
Production Associate role at Sakara Life in Gardena, CA. Responsibilities include cooking and food prep tasks (cleaning, chopping, cooking vegetables and fruit, making sauces, baking), portioning soups, sauces, and dressings, assembling, labeling, and packaging meals, and performing daily kitchen/warehouse maintenance and cleaning. Requires flexibility to work weekends and overtime, ability to stand or sit for long periods, exposure to refrigerated/freezer spaces, and ability to work in GMP-conscious, temperature-controlled environments with PPE. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime as required
- At least 1 year of related experience preferred
- Knowledge in food safety policies including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment and work in environments with extreme temperature fluctuations
- Must be able to bend and lift up to 49 pounds
- Ability to work in multiple roles throughout kitchen and warehouse
