Job Summary
Production Associate - Prep responsible for assembling custom doors per templates, operating upstream equipment and CNC tools, reading measurements and diagrams, participating in continuous improvement, and collaborating with the team to ensure safety and quality. Must have a high school diploma or GED, basic tool safety knowledge, intermediate mechanical comprehension, ability to read instructions and diagrams, perform math with fractions/percentages/ratios/proportions, lift up to 70 lbs with assistance, and work well in a team. Prior manufacturing/assembly/construction experience and blueprint reading are preferred. The role involves safety-first practices, tool use, troubleshooting, and contributing to product flow in a door manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Knowledge of safe operation of basic hand and power tools
- Intermediate mechanical comprehension and abilities
- Ability to read, comprehend and carry-out instructions in written, oral, and/or diagram form
- Skills to measure and perform mathematical computations, including fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions
- Lift 70lbs with assistance
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to read a tape measure down to a 1/32"
- Train and work in other departments as needed
