Job Summary
Operate powder coat, paint, or other equipment to apply industrial powder coat or paint on metals or products according to specified work orders and duties as assigned. Follow required safety procedures at all times and work in areas including shot blast, powder painter, caulker, blow off, loader/unloader, masker/demasker, and pre-inspector. This role does not require previous paint experience. Shifts run from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, or 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM with overtime as needed. Required Qualifications
- Prior work experience
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to perform repetitive operations
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Must follow required safety procedures at all times
- Must pass an online assessment
- Must pass an interview
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass a medical review
- Must be available for 1st, 2nd & 3rd shifts
- Role requires overtime as needed to support business needs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in shot blast operations
- Experience in fabrication powder coat painting
- Experience in top coat, prime coat and electrostatic paint
- Ability to read blueprints / engineering drawings
