Job Summary
Ensure polymer resin preparation, material modifications, and accurate data collection while maintaining process conditions and required records. Operate lab scale extruders and thermo-formers, provide technical assistance to the Polymer Processing group and Physical Testing Laboratory, and perform minor mechanical repairs to equipment. Troubleshoot processing issues across various resin types and support new product design and process development initiatives. Requires high-level initiative, strong communication skills, and experience with polymer materials and processes. Starting hourly rate is $19.00+/hr.
