Job Summary
Production Operator in Smoke and Grill Ingredient Manufacturing performing hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing tasks: operate and monitor production equipment, set up and troubleshoot, monitor product quality, support changeovers, maintain a clean and organized work area, and collaborate with a team to meet Kerry's high standards. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in manufacturing/food production or quality environments; capable of standing for long shifts, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in a smoky production environment. Proficiency with MS Excel and SAP is preferred, with knowledge of GMP/HACCP or food safety systems considered a plus. Shift schedule is 12 hours, 4 days on and 4 days off, with rotating hours.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in manufacturing, food production, or quality environments
- Physical ability to stand throughout shift, walk, climb, twist and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work with smell of smoke in environment
- Reliable attendance
- Self-motivation and conscientiousness
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with a team
- Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills
- Use of MS products, Excel and SAP software preferred
- Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, or food safety systems helpful
