Job Summary
Production Associate on the N8 line responsible for setting up and operating filler equipment, managing wash cycles, and tying operations to silos. Responsibilities include ensuring raw materials are available per production schedule, maintaining supplies of cups, lids, and folded boxes, monitoring material quality and production to meet specifications, performing weight and vacuum checks, conducting QA testing as directed by QA, completing production paperwork neatly and on time, documenting downtime and machine efficiency, maintaining a clean work area, following SOPs and safety procedures, and assisting with maintenance to achieve standard efficiency. Must follow directions, communicate clearly, read/write simple information, and handle changes or delays under pressure. Physical requirements include standing, lifting up to 35 pounds, and exposure to moving parts and potentially cold or humid environments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Six to twelve months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence
- Ability to use hand held Warehouse Management System scanning devices
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Ability to work long hours and adapt to changes in production schedules
