Production Associate MP/Sterns (2nd Shift)

Job Summary
Sets up and operates cell manufacturing and test equipment to produce final product, including molding, machine operating, assembly, potting, washing, painting, and inspecting. Inspects parts for quality, reads process documents, and performs preventative maintenance on tools. Rotates through all tasks in the production process while maintaining an orderly, safe, and clean workplace. Records production data, communicates issues to the Production Team Leader, and assists in training new associates on standard processes and changeovers. Interfaces with purchasing, engineering, and customer service to deliver product meeting expectations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous industrial assembly background
- Verifiable and solid work history
- Knowledge of gauging processes
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as general business periodicals, safety rules, quality instruction and process documentation, operating and maintenance instructions, technical and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports, productivity charts, and production correspondences
- Ability to apply concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong and/or apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to stand, walk, reach with hand or hands, hand together with arm, or two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
- Ability to perform frequent forward bending and occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
- Near vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus
- U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, U.S. national, U.S. permanent resident, individual granted asylum in the United States, or refugee in the United States) or a license that permits them to hold the position
