Job Summary
Sort, stack, and grade wood based on size and material; operate chop saws, compound miter saws, and other equipment. Work closely with your supervisor to troubleshoot mechanical or material issues. Cross-train in multiple departments to add variety to your workday. This role requires the ability to work a physical job for 10 hours per day and includes mandatory overtime. Select a schedule that works for your life, such as evenings from 2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. Join a family-owned window and door company with opportunities for promotion and a supportive training program.
Required Qualifications
- Learn to accurately read and use a calibrated tape measure
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent attendance and the ability to be on time
- Ability to work a physical job for 10 hours per day
- Previous manufacturing experience or assembly experience
