Job Summary
Operate machinery and equipment to transform raw materials into final dairy products, ensuring all safety processes and standard operating procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area while multi-tasking to meet production demands in a fast-paced environment. Complies with personal protective equipment requirements and adapts quickly to changes in daily work assignments. Requires 6+ months of work experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to work weekends, holidays, and periodic overtime.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- 6+ months of work experience in any industry
- Basic computer and math skills
- Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions
- Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
- Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful
- Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
- Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
- Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
- Required to work scheduled shift which may include weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year of food manufacturing work experience
- Forklift experience
