Job Summary
Process new and donated items to meet production goals, sorting and categorizing goods while identifying e-Commerce items and safely disposing of hazardous materials. Determine price points and ticket items for visibility, then stage products to ensure freshness on the floor. Operate power equipment including stackers, pallet jacks, tilt masters, compactors, and forklifts while maintaining a clean, organized backroom. Adhere to proper operation protocols for pallet jacks and compactors if 18 years or older and trained. Perform general cleaning tasks and complete checklists in a retail backroom environment requiring prolonged standing, moderate to heavy lifting, and frequent movement. Work a flexible schedule including holidays, evenings, and weekends with regular attendance.
Required Qualifications
- Basic math skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, evenings, and weekends
- Regular and timely attendance in accordance with the assigned work schedule
- Sufficient physical ability to repetitively stand for prolonged periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to independently twist, lift, carry, push or pull moderate (10 pounds) to heavy (25 pounds) of weight
- Ability to use a team lift for objects weighing over 25 pounds
- Ability to reach approximately 54 inches
- Ability to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch
- Sufficient hand and finger dexterity to perform detailed tasks
- Ability to verbally communicate to exchange information
- Age 18 or older and trained/checked off for proper operation of pallet jack and compactor

- Excellent communication, customer service skills, and strong attention to detail
- Experience operating power equipment
