Job Summary
Production Associate I, Retail Production at Grand Junction Store processes donated items into inventory, prices and tests items as required, and ensures the sales floor is stocked and presentable. Responsibilities include sorting donations by type (books, media, textiles, housewares, etc.), tagging and pricing, researching item value when needed, and maintaining organized, customer-ready product. The role may involve interaction with customers and cross-training in multiple departments (hardlines, softlines, housewares, electronics, mechanicals, books, or shoes), with occasional donations work. Strong emphasis on customer service, adherence to quality standards, and a willingness to work across all seven days, including weekends. Schedule is day shift; full-time employment with benefits and opportunities for PTO and retirement plan participation. Must be able to operate equipment (dolly, pallet jack) and comply with safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year retail experience preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to follow company standards
- Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends
- Ability to use basic technologies
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team
