Job Summary
Sort donations into outbound containers for e-commerce, salvage, or trash using quality standards. Quickly determine if items are unit priced or tagged with good/better/best prices, and identify brands and high-interest items to maximize store value. Meet 1-touch production goals by moving HL donations from door to floor in 15 minutes or processing one SL rack per hour. Communicate with material handlers to bring product, empty garbage, and swap out salvage containers. Promptly greet customers on the sales floor and donors in the donation center while maintaining a safe, clean environment following 5S guidelines. Work the process at assigned stations, providing backup for taking in donations or putting out product. Interact professionally with co-workers, shoppers, and donors.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to learn safe operation of power equipment
- Must be 18 years old or over
- Good interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the facility
- Ability to lift push or pull up to 40 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
