Job Summary
Inspect, print, fill, and seal flexible containers holding IV therapies and sterile solutions at a rate consistent with production needs. Maintain computerized printers by replacing foil and ribbons, supply filling stations with necessary supplies, and ensure all printed bags meet quality standards. Perform scheduled cleaning activities, document tasks, and conduct quality checks using gauges and scales while adhering to SOPs and cGMP. Notify the supervisor immediately if safety, quality, mechanical, or discrepancy issues occur. Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles. Maintain rigorous physical standards including grasping, lifting, and repetitive processes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- CRC (Career Readiness Certification) at the Silver level
- Possess or be able to obtain Inspector Certification
- One year of manufacturing experience
- Basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members
- Ability to understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings
- Ability to perform basic mathematics
- Normal visual acuity and the ability to distinguish color
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, squat, climb ladders, reach forward, balance, stoop and crouch
- Ability to perform continuous grasping, pushing/pulling up to 40 pounds for a distance up to 50 feet and reaching with hands and arms up to 18 inches
- Ability to lift and carry on average up to 12 pounds frequently throughout the shift
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
- Must be able to obtain Inspector Certification
