Production Associate - Door Shop Assembler

Job Summary
Perform assembly of interior and exterior doors at various machine centers. Verify accuracy of work orders against materials and assembly instructions. Inspect all materials for defects and appropriate quality/condition. Provide basic customer service to internal and external customers. Work with team members to fulfill orders and complete daily tasks. Maintain a clean working area and follow all safety procedures, including OSHA compliance and required safety programs. Engage in additional duties as assigned. Read tape measurements and utilize an inventory control scanner if familiar. Stand during the entire shift and safely lift up to 100 pounds. Work in a loud, high-traffic warehouse environment wearing provided personal protective equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or 2+ years equivalent experience
- Able to understand and follow safety/work instructions
- Ability to read tape measurements
- Ability to stand during the entire work shift
- Work in tandem using safe lifting practices
- Continuously lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
- Ability to uphold core values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, and Excellence
- Demonstrate strong teamwork skills
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with millwork
- Experience utilizing an inventory control scanner (RFN)
- Prior experience with manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines
