Production Associate - Crater/Floater 1st Shift

Job Summary
Build and assemble wooden crates, pallets, and shipping containers according to specifications. Package and prepare finished products for shipment, measuring, cutting, and assembling materials using hand and power tools safely. Verify product quantities and inspect finished goods before packaging, while moving materials throughout the facility with proper lifting techniques. Float between departments to assist with production, packaging, shipping, or other operational tasks as assigned. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all company safety policies and quality standards. Work 1st shift hours (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday) at Cornerstone Building Brands' Orwigsburg, PA facility. Base pay is $19.00–$21.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout an 8-hour shift.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 65 pounds.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Must be able to safely operate hand tools and production equipment.
- Ability to read a tape measure and follow work instructions.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and a positive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Manufacturing, warehouse, or construction experience is preferred but not required.
