Job Summary
Production Associate plays a key role in the safe production and packaging of meat products by operating equipment, inspecting product quality, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining sanitary work conditions. Requires attention to detail, adherence to food safety and quality standards, and a commitment to meeting daily production objectives. Duties include safe operation, cleanliness, quality inspections, labeling/boxing/shipping preparation, coordinating with Maintenance and Team Leader, and contributing to Continuous Improvement programs (CI). The role also involves lifting and moving boxed products, loading into packaging equipment, and ensuring correct dates/labels for shipments.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience manufacturing environment
- Basic knowledge of production processes
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
- Ability to work alone or as a member of a team
- Awareness of sanitation and hygiene procedures and practices
- Concern for safety of self and co-workers
- Understand contribution to company goals (GOAL)
