Job Summary
Operate a computerized cutting system to cut vinyl to exact dimensions for window assembly. Lift and move vinyl lineals, load components into production carts, and move carts in and out of workstations. Sort batches based on schedule flow reports and audit quality of cut parts to resolve issues. Perform 5S housekeeping, place scrap in designated barrels, and execute downtime duties during line stoppages. Cross-train and rotate across various workstations within the line.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly
- Must be able to stand for duration of entire shift
- Must cross-train and rotate on various workstations within line/complex
- Ability to measure lengths accurately to 1/32"
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to convert fractions to decimals
- Ability to read and understand schedule's workflow report, and written instructions
- Capable of using computerized equipment
- Ability to move production carts
- Be able to recognize part by shape and color
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
- Must be available for 2nd Shift: 3:45 pm - 12:15 am
Desired Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
