Job Summary
Fabricate Insulated Glass units on Intercept Glass Lines by placing spacers onto glass lites according to quality specifications. Maintain line cycle times while moving carts in and out of the production area. Communicate observed quality issues upstream or downstream and report mechanical problems to leadership or maintenance staff. Perform precision stacking and alignment of second glass lites, locate minor defects in glass and grids, and cross-train across various workstations within the line complex.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and stand for duration of entire shift
- Must have fine motor skills
- Ability to work in tandem with another operator
- Ability to locate minor quality defects in glass, grids and spacers
- Ability to comprehend written work instructions, standard work and quality documents
- Ability to move carts of glass in and out of production areas
- Must cross-train and rotate on various workstations within line/complex
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
Desired Qualifications
- 1 - 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
