Job Summary
Production Associate 1st Shift at Cornerstone Building Brands responsible for fabrication and production of window components in a manufacturing environment. Performs repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units; may support window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading materials. Operates hand or power tools (saws, welders, routers), reads work orders and labels, measures with a tape measure, inspects for defects, and adheres to safety protocols. Provides on-the-job training to new employees and performs other duties as assigned. Requires manual dexterity, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a strong team-player mindset. Shift is 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, Monday–Friday; site in Walbridge, OH. Full-time benefits offered from day 1, and a background check is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
- Experience in manufacturing or installing windows preferred
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery
- Must be a team player
- Ability to read and carry out written and oral instructions
- Read work orders, labels, and schedules; use a tape measure
- Able to repetitively lift, push, and move up to 50 pounds
- Safety-focused with use of PPE and compliance with safety manuals
