Job Summary
Open barrels, blocks, or bags of cheese and other ingredients, weigh ingredients per batch sheets, and cut and trim components to correct weights. Place packed boxes on pallets, transfer ingredients to pick-up tables, and load cheese into grinders. Maintain clean work areas, empty recycling, and flex to multiple areas as needed. Perform additional duties efficiently and safely while adhering to GMP, HACCP, and food safety practices. Requires lifting up to 60 lbs, standing for 10 consecutive hours, and working in a food manufacturing environment with variable temperatures. Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to stand/walk for 10 consecutive hours
- Willingness to work in a food manufacturing environment with variable temperatures
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to use hands to grasp, grip and manipulate boxes or product
- Basic math skills
