Job Summary
Package products by placing items in machines, boxes, or pallets and verifying integrity to eliminate leaks and ensure correct appearance. Confirm specifications including weight, piece count, labeling, and absence of debris. Assemble, weigh, tape, label, code, scan, and palletize boxes as needed. Maintain work areas and equipment for efficiency and safety while complying with GMP, SSOP, and SQF standards. Utilize electronic equipment and wear required PPE including hair/beard nets and protective gear. Report safety concerns immediately and attend all safety and production trainings. Work in a team environment under pressure, lifting up to 30 lbs regularly and 60 lbs occasionally while standing for the entire shift.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions

- Ability to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends
- Ability to work in a team environment

- Attend all safety and production trainings
- Attend, and successfully complete, when applicable, all required safety training
- Comply with the requirements of the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), and Food Safety and Quality Food Programs (SQF)
- Follow all safety laws, policies, and procedures
- Immediately report safety concerns to supervisor
- Always work in a safe manner for your own and other associate's safety
