Job Summary
Production Assistant responsible for supporting production activities: pulling packaging supplies, reading job specifications to understand processes, labeling and tagging products, moving finished goods to shipping, maintaining quality standards, and completing required documentation. Must be able to operate machinery (band saw, shrink wrap), perform basic math, read and interpret English safety and operation manuals, fill out paperwork, and follow safety policies. Work may involve housekeeping duties, packaging, labeling, and transporting components and finished goods within a manufacturing environment; exposure to manufacturing areas with PPE like safety glasses and hearing protection may be required. Required Qualifications
- Ability to run and maintain machinery (band saw, shrink wrap, etc.)
- Basic math
- Ability to read and use a tape measure
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English
- Ability to write, fill out paperwork and keep track of time in English
- Ability to comprehend written and oral job instructions in English
