Job Summary
Production Assistant — with Racking Emphasis in the printing department: responsible for inspecting printed materials for accuracy and quality, racking and organizing parts for downstream processes, and assisting in production tasks such as inspection, lamination, deslugging, reclaiming, and general support. Requires strong attention to detail, ability to follow written instructions and quality standards, and effective communication with Printing, Ink, and Production teams. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs and work Monday–Friday 7:00am–3:30pm with overtime; high school diploma or GED and basic math/measurement skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to understand and follow work order instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Basic math skills and ruler measurement ability
- Above-average hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs
- Preferred: 1–3 months of related experience in a manufacturing or print setting (on-the-job training available)
- Ability to recognize color, design, and print quality standards
