Production Assistant (Non-CDL) Truck Driver

Job Summary
Drive routes for pickup and drop-off of donations at the warehouse, assigned boxes, and donor homes while ensuring safe vehicle operation and reporting any accidents or injuries immediately. Perform daily walk-around inspections of the truck, maintaining clean cab and box conditions, and securely load/unload goods using proper equipment to prevent damage. Provide assistance to Thrift Store personnel for proper item placement and supervise a Truck Helper within the work therapy program. Maintain accurate records including delivery manifests and trip logs while adhering to the "Manual for Production Assistants" and company dress code.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Valid driver's license for assigned vehicles and acceptable DMV record
- Must pass driving test
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs
- Must be able to read maps and plan and prioritize daily route coverage
- Must be able to use Ipad with GPS, texting and truck inspection report
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Medical card required depending on city and/or state requirement
- Passing a DOT Physical is a requirement of the job
