Job Summary
Conduct hands-on production labor tasks while supervising daily team activities to ensure workflow efficiency and meet targets. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide real-time problem-solving on the floor. Collaborate with engineering to implement process improvements and maintain a well-organized environment. Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets using Excel, manage supplier communications, and handle documentation. Act as a liaison between production and engineering teams to align on project goals and optimize processes. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while identifying areas for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data collection, analysis, and managing large datasets
- Proven ability to supervise and coordinate production staff effectively
- Strong organizational skills to manage day-to-day tasks and ensure production efficiency
- Experience collecting, organizing, and analyzing large amounts of technical or operational data
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify trends and provide actionable insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with production staff, engineering teams, and external contacts
- Comfortable making phone calls and maintaining professional relationships to ensure up-to-date records
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address production challenges
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Capability to perform hands-on production tasks in a tech production environment, with the ability to handle small tools and components while maintaining focus and precision
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards and quality control practices in a production setting
- Successful candidates must be able to pass a comprehensive background check
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred
- Experience operating and maintaining spectral devices or similar testing equipment is preferred
