Job Summary
Process orders cut on burning machines by identifying parts, using grinders and hand tools, and following six-step procedures. Stack parts on pallets or bundles, mark them with work order information, and remove small cut parts from tables. Load and unload vehicles for inbound deliveries and customer will calls while maintaining a safe, organized work area. Operate forklifts, jib cranes, and overhead cranes as needed. Identify questionable quality issues and present them to supervisors for review. Communicate effectively with coworkers and related shifts throughout the day.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable, be on time ready to work daily
- Continuous mental and/or visual attention to work tasks is required to monitor safety conditions the production process, attention to important details of the process of parts preparation and delivery to Customers
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and writing in English
- Math ability to figure piece counts and read a tape measure etc. including converting decimals to fractions and vice versa
- As a condition of employment, all applicants are required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Farwest adheres to federal regulations in regard to drug-testing, which includes THC
- Pre-employment drug screen and background check must be completed, post offer of employment

Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Warehouse training or prior experience of at least 12 months preferred
