Production Assistant

Production Assistant at Farwest Steel's Western US operations. Responsibilities include processing orders and parts cut on burning machines, stacking parts on pallets, marking and delivering or storing per work orders, removing small cut parts, identifying and flagging quality issues for supervisor review, loading/unloading inbound deliveries and customer will calls, sorting/prepping parts for processing, and occasional forklift and crane operation. Must follow safety policies and procedures. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (optional), attention to detail, effective English communication, basic math and tape measure reading. Employment offers safety-related requirements (pre-employment drug screen and background check) and compliance with E-Verify.
