Job Summary
Conduct daily pickup and drop-off routes for donations at warehouses, assigned boxes, and donor homes while ensuring vehicle security and safe operation. Perform daily walk-around inspections of air, water, and oil; maintain cab cleanliness; and plan routes using GPS and iPad. Load and unload goods, securing materials properly to prevent damage, and provide assistance to Thrift Store personnel for item placement. Supervise a Truck Helper in a rehabilitation program by modeling professional conduct and work habits. Report accidents, injuries, or equipment issues immediately to the supervisor and maintain accurate records including delivery manifests and trip logs. Adhere to company dress code and communication protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Valid driver's license for assigned vehicles and acceptable DMV record
- Must pass driving test
- Must be able to lift 100 lbs
- Must be able to read maps and plan and prioritize daily route coverage
- Must be able to use Ipad with GPS, texting and truck inspection report
- Must have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Medical card required depending on city and/or state requirement
- Passing a DOT Physical is a requirement of the job
