Job Summary
Production Assistant to support the production and preparation of timber products in a busy timber yard; operate machinery safely, perform continuous quality checks on materials, stock sundries, label finished timber with customer and stock details, maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, and report health and safety concerns or improvements. Desirable: experience as a saw operator and forklift (Sideloader) license. Location: Hastings, United Kingdom; hours 07:00–16:30, Monday to Friday. The role emphasizes hands-on timber production, quality control, material handling, and adherence to safety standards.
