Job Summary
Production Assistant provides support to the Loan Officer to ensure timely closing of loan files through coordination with operations staff and customers. Responsibilities include requesting disclosures, opening escrow, collecting fees and ordering preliminary title reports, ordering appraisals, collecting and reviewing client documentation, reviewing income analysis, submitting loan documentation to processing, gathering PTD/PTF conditions, and submitting requests for Rapid Rescores. Strong MS Office skills and excellent communication are essential for success in a fast-paced, confidential mortgage-operations environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in mortgage industry preferred
- Familiarity with mortgage terminology
- Experience with Point software preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Ability to work in a fast paced fluid environment
- High level of integrity and confidentiality required
