Job Summary
Production Assistant will provide support to the Loan Officer by ensuring timely closing of loan files via communication with operations staff and customers. Essential duties include: requesting disclosures; opening escrow, collecting fees and ordering preliminary title report; ordering appraisals; collecting and reviewing client documentation; reviewing income analysis; submitting loan documents to processing; gathering PTD/PTF conditions; submitting requests for Rapid Rescores. Must have mortgage-specific experience with strong communication, organization, and teamwork; occasional evenings and weekends may be required.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years minimum of mortgage-specific experience required
- Strong understanding of loan structuring, guidelines, and mortgage operations
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask at a high level
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Someone who takes ownership and finds solutions
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to occasionally assist evenings and weekends when needed
