Production Assistant (Afternoon Shift)

Production Assistant on the Afternoon Shift responsible for inspection, handling and packaging of products and assisting Material Handler and/or Counter as needed. Responsibilities include separating scrap from good quality products, operating and monitoring molding machinery, packaging, labeling, and ensuring quality requirements in the Printing Department are met; feeding product through the press; reporting malfunctions to the Supervisor; maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area; providing assistance to Material Handlers with packaging and related duties; and supporting other duties as directed by the Supervisor. Shift is 2pm–10pm; location in Langley, BC. Growth opportunities include advancing product and product code knowledge, learning Material Handler responsibilities, continued job-related education, and familiarization with machine cleanup procedures.
