Job Summary
Coordinate daily production for the production area, performing routine activities such as assembling and post-processing of inflators. Assure efficient start-up, end-of-shift, and changeover operations while loading materials including diffusers, initiators, and canisters. Perform quality procedures, dimensional checks, weld inspections, and traceability activities. Operate the drillout machine, dispose of scrap, and conduct TPM maintenance. Monitor material flow, identify abnormal conditions, and raise red flags for quality or safety issues. Search for process improvement suggestions and implement them based on observations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience
- 1 year of line lead/line coordinator or similar role
- Must be able to push, pull or lift 40 lbs regularly
- Must be able to perform continuous, active, physical effort
- May need to be able to be forklift certified
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively direct the work of people
- Strong ability to coordinate and plan
- Knowledge of manufacturing, rework and preventive maintenance instructions
