Job Summary
Production Assistant for a chocolate manufacturing site on a 12-hour night shift. Responsible for a range of semi-skilled and unskilled tasks to support production operations, including basic operation of equipment, forklift operation, hand packing (bulk, six pack, end of line), monitoring controls, equipment changeover activities, cleaning and setup of the work area, maintaining product quality on the main distribution line, generating work orders as needed, and ensuring a clean, organized, and professional work area. Emphasis on following standard operating procedures, maintaining visual workplace requirements, and collaborating with teammates to sustain production flow.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 year manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Forklift experience (preferred)
- Ability to lift 55 lbs
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic English reading/writing skills
