Job Summary
Place components on the production line per operations standards and assemble parts using bolts, clips, and screws. Participate in continuous improvement activities including 5S, Kaizen, Quick Hits, and Six Sigma events. Perform tasks requiring standing for eight hours, continuous reaching, grasping, and twisting, while lifting 35 to 75 lbs. Read and comprehend simple instructions and memos, and present information to customers and associates. Maintain attention to detail and quality standards while demonstrating flexibility in shifts and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 35 to 75 Lbs and Carry a short distance
- Work from a standing position for 8 + Hours
- Perform tasks that requires continuous reaching, grasping, twisting, leaning and full extension of the upper body
- Read and comprehend simple instructions
- Must show attention to detail, be quality minded
- Must be flexible in shifts, departments, and positions
- Must be able to work overtime if needed
Desired Qualifications
- Work in a standing position for a minimum of 8 hours
- Perform tasks that require continuous reaching, grasping, twisting, leaning and bending
- Participate in activities to include 5S, Kaizen, Quick Hits, Six Sigma, and other related continuous improvement events
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates in the organization
- Add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's, using weight measurement, volume and distance
- Possess organizational, priority/time management, problem solving, and conflict resolution
