Job Summary
Assemble electromechanical units from sub-assemblies to finished products using a microscope, soldering iron, ultrasonic cleaner, and furnaces. Rework malfunctioning units and communicate with the calibration department to ensure accurate assembly. Operate standard shop equipment while welding miniature parts under a microscope for extended periods. Conduct ongoing cross-training to increase skills and knowledge, and process complex assemblies with minimal oversight. Requires 3-5 years of electromechanical assembly experience, proficiency in reading engineering drawings and schematics, and ability to troubleshoot. Must be a local candidate with no visa sponsorship required.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in electromechanical assembly
- experience in soldering under a microscope
- ability to read and understand engineering assembly drawings
- Advanced schematic reading
- ability to troubleshoot assemblies
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Good dexterity of hands and eyes
- Good communication skills
- Certified for J-STD C or IPC-610
- Must be a local candidate
- Must be a U.S. person within the meaning of ITAR
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
- Candidates must not require sponsorship for employment visa
