Job Summary
Production Assembler I performs assigned assembly tasks under close supervision, interpreting production/engineering prints and wiring diagrams, preparing components, setting up and operating equipment, and ensuring proper documentation and adherence to safety procedures. Responsibilities include inspecting and cleaning components, assembling subassemblies or completed assemblies, reporting issues to leads, participating in team improvement efforts, meeting quality standards, and completing required training. Preferred qualifications include IPC soldering certification and hand crimping experience. The role requires strong manual dexterity, good color/near vision, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with possible overtime. Required Qualifications
- 0-3 years of Assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
- Strong verbal and written communication; proficiency in reading comprehension (English)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to thoroughly interpret production or engineering prints and assembly aids such as illustrations and wiring diagrams
- Ability to work in a moderate to high paced work environment in a high volume setting
- High School diploma or equivalent
