Job Summary
Production Assembler responsible for following manufacturing procedures to perform product assembly, reporting issues or defective parts to supervision, maintaining a clean and organized bench/work area, and ensuring equipment/tools are in good condition. Must be dependable with good attendance, basic mechanical abilities, and strong manual dexterity/hand-eye coordination. Role may include other tasks as required; training and certifications provided upon hire. Working hours are 7:00 AM–3:30 PM with 40 hours weekly; occasional evenings and weekends as needed. Hubbell Incorporated operates in Shelton, CT, and broader U.S. manufacturing contexts; internal emphasis on quality control and safe, efficient production processes.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED
- Some manufacture experience
- Good Attendance is a MUST
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical abilities are a strong plus
- Attention to details
- The Company will provide necessary training and certifications as required for the position upon hire
- Good understanding of quality control principles
