Job Summary
Production Assembly Worker responsible for assembling products and components according to work instructions and production schedules, using basic hand and power tools, performing routine mechanical tasks, and maintaining safety and quality standards. Responsibilities include inspecting completed work, reporting equipment issues or safety concerns, assisting with material handling and packaging, following safety procedures, and collaborating with team members to meet daily production goals. Must be able to read and follow diagrams/instructions, perform simple mechanical adjustments, and troubleshoot as needed. Knowledge of hydraulics and hydraulic system repair is noted as a beneficial skill. The role requires standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs, and overtime as needed, in a manufacturing environment with PPE usage.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing or assembly experience preferred but not required
- Basic understanding of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical concepts
- Ability to read and follow written instructions and diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout shift (lift up to 25 lbs)
- Ability to perform repetitive motions using hands and arms
