Job Summary
Conduct all types of assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products/systems/panels, including packing where integrated with production lines. Perform work manually or by using light hand tools while reading and interpreting technical diagrams and instructions for assembly. Carry out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process and operate within standard operating procedures to maintain a clean work area. Support the unit in achieving set production targets by adhering to systems and processes.
Required Qualifications
- highly skilled in working with assembly tools, methodologies, and processes relevant to the manufacturing industry
- established skills with number of years in assembly operations
- reading and interpreting technical diagrams, instructions, or blueprints for systems, panels, or products
- adept in operating light hand tools
- following standardized operating procedures
- Proven experience or formal qualification in manufacturing or related fields
- At ease communicating and understanding technical requirements in English
- valid New Zealand work permit or visa, allowing you to work legally in the role
