Job Summary
Production Artist to support the packaging team in Miami, creating print-ready mechanicals and managing artwork pipelines from concept through production. Responsibilities include releasing final artwork to partners, generating proofs, ensuring color accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines, coordinating with print vendors, applying regulatory requirements (FCC, FDA, CSPC, etc.), and maintaining production schedules. Requires collaboration with Brand, Product Development, and Package Engineering, and occasional travel to vendor sites. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 2-5 years of mechanical production experience in packaging artwork are required; proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and understanding of pre-press workflows are expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Graphic Design
- 2-5 years relevant experience in mechanical production preparation with a focus in packaging artwork (2D)
- Experience with large format printer / proofers, rip software, and color spectrometers
- Strong knowledge of package printing technologies (Lithography, Flexo, Screen Print, UV, digital, etc.)
- Mastery of Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
- Portfolio showcasing complex packaging production projects
- Ability to travel domestically (approx. once per quarter)
