Job Summary
Conduct all aspects of board ordering following established procedures and act as a back-up to the production scheduler and buyer. Perform key administrative and coordination duties related to safety and productivity while adhering to service, quality, and efficiency standards. Prioritize multiple tasks and manage deadline pressures using mathematical calculations and proficient computer skills. Monday through Friday, flexible, between standard business hours.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency
- A minimum of two years of experience in purchasing, scheduling, or safety
- Four-year college degree in a related field of study
- Proficient computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations: adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing fractions, decimals and percentages
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow verbal, written or diagrammatic instructions
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Capable of dealing with deadline pressures
