Job Summary
Manage MRP work orders, coordinate material flow across factory cells, and validate sourcing to meet service level objectives. Prioritize material shortages, resolve constraints, and lead production readiness activities by ensuring timely procurement and inventory accuracy. Analyze capacity requirements, monitor operational KPIs, and leverage ERP and Power BI data to drive process improvements and cost reduction initiatives. Coordinate daily execution with purchasing, engineering, and production teams while implementing Lean Thinking and maintaining standard work procedures.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in business management, Logistics, or Supply Management
- Over five years of experience in material planning within a mid-volume discrete machining and assembly business
- Experience in a machine shop environment
- Experience with implementing and managing kanban processes
- Knowledge and experience with ISO 9000 quality systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to use basic Excel data analysis tools
- Working knowledge of ERP systems
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's degree with a minimum of two years of experience
- CPIM certification
- Experience with JD Edwards E1
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience with Oracle Fusion
- A bachelor's degree in business management, Logistics, or Supply Management is preferred
