Job Summary
Haul stage, sound equipment, lights, and gear for artists across all 48 contiguous states and Canada on irregular routes. Perform night driving duties with good backing skills, assisting in loading, unloading, and securing trailers with load bars and straps. Commit to completing assigned tours ranging from 10 days to 10 months or production runs lasting 7 to 21 days. Earn a weekly salary of $1,800+ plus competitive mileage pay during regional no-touch freight periods when entertainment slows down. Requires 6 months of over-the-road entertainment driving experience and a Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months of over-the-road entertainment driving experience in the past 5 years
- Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement
- Must be registered for the FMCSA Clearinghouse
- No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
- No convictions for DUI or DWI within the past 5 years
- No suspensions or revocations for a moving violation within the last 5 years
- No serious violations within previous 12 months (15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, traffic offense committed in a CMV in connection with a fatality)
- No more than 3 moving violations within the past 3 years
- No preventable DOT recordable accidents within the past 3 years
- Must be committed to completing the tour once assigned
- Good backing skills
- Must be able to assist in loading and unloading the trailer and securing with load bars and straps
- Must be available for mainly night driving
- Must be able to operate in all 48 contiguous states and Canada
- Must be able to operate outside of Mexico
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership approval to transfer into the position after working with the regional driving team for 30 days
