Job Summary
Process and manage financial data for live esports championships, including tracking PO spending, reviewing invoices against contracts, and ensuring policy compliance. Partner with Line Producers and vendors to maintain forecasting, categorize costs using the production chart of accounts, and create timely cost reports. Set up Odoo and budget files, simplify financial timelines into actionable one-sheets, and support the end-to-end purchase card process from funding to auditing. Cleanse historical budget data for analytics, maintain consolidated financial reports and dashboards, and assist with accruals and cash flow management. Work with purchasing and Accounts Payable teams to manage vendors and ensure timely payments. Requires 2+ years in finance, valid passport, and hybrid work in Los Angeles with potential national or international travel.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in Finance/Accounting with a heavy emphasis on budgeting, cost tracking, and audit/control functions
- Demonstrated ability to create and enforce workflows in a fast-paced, creative environment
- Communicate financial compliance requirements and strict deadlines clearly to non-finance stakeholders—including Producers and Creative Leads
- A high degree of accuracy in data entry and the ability to spot discrepancies in large, complex datasets
- Strong ability to prioritize, be proactive, and be detail oriented
- Proficient in the Google ecosystem (e.g., drive, docs, sheets)
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion
- A valid passport is required for this role
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business-related field

- Familiarity with Coupa, IronClad, Slack, and Notion
- Demonstrated interest and experience in emerging technologies (AI and automation)
