Job Summary
Follow complete production schedules with minimal scrap, visually inspect equipment for maintenance issues, and adjust temperature meters and valves as needed. Operate filling equipment in a safe manner following GMP guidelines while staging ingredients, moving packaging, and performing machine rinsing and cleaning. Record data on ingredients, lot codes, and processing information, ensuring accurate hourly machine counts for visual boards. Maintain housekeeping in the department, label box sides and ends, and apply customer-requested stickers. Work Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 2:30 pm at the Mason plant, with overtime possible.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- History of safe work practices
- Prior experience in a warehouse-shipping/receiving-logistics environment
- Ability to safely lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to call out defects and implement to Quality standards
- Achieve a qualified score on the job skills assessment
